IU celebrates distinguished faculty for contributions to academic excellence

Indiana University President Michael A. McRobbie recently joined IUPUI Chancellor Nasser Paydar to celebrate the Alliance of Distinguished and Titled Professors and welcome its newest members who have received the highest academic rank for scholars and researchers.

"Indiana University's distinguished and titled professors are a central part of the university’s great history and its future," McRobbie said at a recent dinner held at IUPUI for the Alliance.

The newest distinguished professors include five faculty members from IU Bloomington and one from the IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
